Devilfish Poker, and MansionPoker's $2 Million Poker Dome

It's all there to play for....

Devilfish Poker

THE DEVIL'S IN THE DETAIL
With so many good poker sites to choose from these days it tends to boil down to safety, security and seamless game play satisfaction. Beyond those qualities I myself like to see the stamp of personailty on a site. My current favourite is Devilfishpoker run by Dave "Devilfish" Ulliott. Dave is one of the most feared professionals on the circuit coming as he does from a tough and gritty background. Arrivals at his site are made fully aware of this fact as soon as they hit the home page. The visuals are pure East London gangster by way of Guy Ritchie with cool sound effects and a genuine "feel" that you are entering somewhere rather different. As a newcomer entering the site you almost expect to be frisked for guns or knuckle dusters such is the vibe that's set up by the 3D graphics. Player names on offer add to the fun with monikas like Jack the Hack and Mickey Blue Eyes to choose from. None of this distracts you from the functionality of the games themselves which are handled in a smooth and professional manner. Table waiting is well within the usual limits for example.

£1,500,000 IN WINNINGS!
The "Devilfish" is a Chinese culinary delicacy that'll kill you if you don't prepare it properly. Dave treats his opponents in the same way. If you're not prepared and don't show respect, you're going down. Ulliott has won over £1,500,000 in prize money during the last two and a half years on the circuit and if you've watched him play on television you'll know why. Dave takes no prisoners and his extremely aggressive and instinctive style makes for a dangerous cocktail. The site's worth a look, especially if you enjoyed "Snatch" or "Lock-Stock and Two Smoking Barrels".

MANSION WORTH A MENTION
One of the best freeroll tournaments currently in full swing with months still to run is the Mansionpoker $2,000,000 Poker Dome Challenge. The site runs four satellites a day monday to saturday and three on a sunday. These are followed up by weekly qualifiers and they are giving away over 200 free buy-ins with a chance to take part in the Televised finals in Las Vegas where the winner will walk away with a cool $1,000,000. With a lot less players taking part than in the World Series for example, this represents good value. The total prize pool on offer is $2,000,000 and all players selected for the finals get free air tickets, stay overs at Caesars, $500 casino credit and a raft of goodies. It's one of the better deals online and I'm always trying to sniff out the best ones to recommend.
